Key West Conchs Takes Victory Over Barron Collier in Pitcher’s Duel


Both teams were strong on the mound Saturday, but Key West Conchs defeated Barron Collier 2-1. Antonio Knowles allowed just three hits to Barron Collier.

Key West Conchs fired up the offense in the first inning. Aidan Bennet threw a wild pitch allowing one run across the plate for Key West Conchs.

Knowles was the winning pitcher for Key West Conchs. He allowed three hits and one run over seven innings, striking out 11 and walking zero.

Bennet took the loss for Barron Collier. He surrendered two runs on two hits over four and two-thirds innings, striking out one.

Will Anderson, Andrew Karch, and Michael Mayor each managed one hit to lead Key West Conchs. Key West Conchs didn’t commit a single error in the field. Patrick Spencer had the most chances in the field with 12.

Dylan Doria led Barron Collier with two hits in three at bats.
