Key West Conchs Downs Southridge, 4-3

Key West Conchs scores more runs than Southridge, takes victory on Saturday to the tune of 4-3.

Key West Conchs captured the lead in the second inning. Michael Mayor drew a walk, scoring one run.

Key West Conchs took the lead for good with two runs in the fourth inning. In the fourth Kyle Iarrobino grounded out, scoring one run and Curtis Knowles’s sac fly scored one run for Key West Conchs.

Danny Galvan was the winning pitcher for Key West Conchs. He went five innings, allowing two runs on six hits and striking out ten. Peter Estevez threw two innings in relief out of the bullpen. Estevez recorded the last six outs to earn the save for Key West Conchs.

Jean Alvarado took the loss for Southridge. He allowed one hit and two runs over one and two-thirds innings, striking out two.

Logan Pellicier and Brendan Roney each collected one hit to lead Key West Conchs. Key West Conchs didn’t commit a single error in the field. Patrick Spencer had 16 chances in the field, the most on the team.

Southridge racked up nine hits. Rahin Gaiter and Adrian Fernandes each collected multiple hits for Southridge.
