Key West Conchs Varsity and Lyman traded the lead back-and-forth on Saturday, but eventually Key West Conchs Varsity prevailed 10-3. Key West Conchs Varsity took the lead for good in the sixth inning. The game was tied at three with Key West Conchs Varsity batting in the bottom of the sixth when Michael Mayor doubled off of David Klovstad, driving in one run.

Key West Conchs Varsity secured the victory thanks to seven runs in the sixth inning. The big inning was thanks to a double by Michael Mayor, a double by Will Anderson, a error, and a error.

Lyman captured the lead in the first inning. Lyman scored on a stolen base during Evan Siegner’s at bat. Then Siegner singled.In the bottom of the fifth inning, Key West Conchs Varsity tied things up at three. With one out in the fifth inning Brendan Roney drove in one run when he singled.

Grevert Soza started for Key West Conchs Varsity. He pitched four innings, surrendering three runs, four hits, and striking out six. Andrew Karch threw two and a third innings earning the win for the Conchs, as two relievers helped Key West Conchs Varsity finish off the victory. Richard Krauskas took the loss for Lyman. He tossed four and a third innings, surrendering three runs, six hits, and striking out two.

Key West Conchs Varsity collected ten hits. Dane Black, Jason Garcia, and Kyle Snow each collected multiple hits for Key West Conchs Varsity. Black went 3-for-4 at the plate to lead Key West Conchs Varsity in hits.

Lyman had six hits in the game. Jimmy Carey and Jared Kinloch each collected multiple hits for Lyman.
