Key West Conchs Open Series with Win

Key West Conchs Varsity took the lead late and defeated IMG Academy Gray 4-1 on Friday. The game was tied at one with Key West Conchs Varsity batting in the bottom of the sixth when Spencer Vinson singled off of Michael Otero, driving in one run.

IMG Academy Gray took an early lead in the first inning. IMG Academy Gray scored on a stolen base during Sean Sullivan’s at bat. Then Sullivan doubled.

Antonio Knowles earned the win for Key West Conchs Varsity. He threw three innings, giving up zero runs, two hits, striking out five, and walking one. Danny Galvan recorded the last three outs to earn the save for Key West Conchs Varsity. Kellen French took the loss for IMG Academy Gray. He went five innings, giving up one run, three hits, and striking out four.
